Can I run Vitruvius applications on Linux?

Modified on Fri, 3 Aug, 2018 at 12:22 PM

Vitruvius does not have a native Linux application and has no plans of developing one. This is due to consistent surveying of our user base reporting 95% or higher use of Microsoft products.

There are many users successfully using Vitruvius applications on Linux. See this article from PCWorld. Vitruvius developers are Linux lovers at heart and have no issues trying to help our users successfully utilize this OS as much as possible. We always recommend using the latest LTS version of Linux for the best experience. We use Ubuntu in our offices.

Vitruvius is actively developing web applications as the future of its platform, however, there is no date when these may start to become available.

Sincerely,

The Vitruvius Team
