Vitruvius User Roles

When using the Vitruvius application there are a few user roles you should be aware of.  If you are using the application as a single/solo user then these roles will not apply to you, but if you are using the application as an organization/team then these roles may be a part of your team's flow.


Owner Role

When your organization purchases Vitruvius the email address that is used to purchase the application is referred to as the "Owner".  This is the main account and this role can not be transferred to any other account. This account can not be deleted and serves to administer all sub-users beneath it. If the email address for this account must be changed then a ticket will need to be made through our support site.


The owner has access to all parts of the application and has the ability to add new users. The ability to add new users can be found in the Account menu by clicking the Users tab. You can read more about how to add more users here: How to Add Sub Users.


The account owner also has the ability to manage sessions. Information on session administration can be found here: Session Management.


Admin Role

An admin has the same access to the application as the owner, but because it is a sub-user account it can be deleted by the owner. 


The admin has access to all parts of the application and has the ability to add new users. The ability to add new users can be found in the Account menu by clicking the Users tab. You can read more about how to add more users here: How to Add Sub Users.


Manager Role

A manager can not add new users or manage sessions Although, a manager does have the ability to edit and delete users. The manager 


User Role

The user role does not have access to the users tab and therefore cannot add, edit, or delete users. The user role is the deafault role and no other checkbox is selected when creating a user then this is the role the user will be given.
